A four-piece combo that incorporates guitar, lap-steel, harmonica,
dog-house slap bass, drums and vocals, the Sandcasters are an
energetic, eclectic blend of surf, traditional country, funk, reggae
and rockabilly, blended together into what we call “Surf-a-billy.”
The Sandcasters are regular live performers at San Diego venues
such as the American Legion Hall in Encinitas, the Aquarius Bar
and Grille and the Sandbox in Pacific Beach. A high-energy combo,
the Sandcasters are sure to have their audiences dancing and
rocking
Their original songs evoke feelings about intense surf sessions,
down-vibes with fingerpicking ragtime style, crazy slap bass,
swampy lap steel and funny stories about real life in San Diego.
