"Man’s Body is a trans-American 'soft punk' group whose latest studio album is called A Set of Steak Knives (NocturnalSol). The band centers around singer/LA resident Greg Franco and guitarist/Chicagoan J. Niimi, both of whom have played in numerous bands of renown since the ‘80s in their respective cities. Joined by Chicago guitarist Marco Obaya and a rhythm section, the band normally performs as a six-piece with a violinist. Man’s Body has toured all around the continental U.S., and recently released a live album, Taking the Edge Off: Live at Kingsize Chicago (NocturnalSol). The band is currently in the process of finishing up their third studio album, New Chroma, due out in early Summer 2023."
