Kaylee Daugherty is a staple singer of the San Diego jazz scene as well as a singer-songwriter. She has had the privilege to play at some of Socal’s finest establishments, including Lou Lou’s, Seaworld, the USS Midway, Music Box, The Jazz Lounge, Dizzy’s, the Drake, the Ritz-Carlton, the Fairmont Grand Del Mar, Hotel Del and the Westgate with San Diego’s best jazz musicians, including Irving Flores, Ed Kornhauser and Mikan Zlatkovich.
With a repertoire of +500 songs in English, Spanish, Portuguese, French and Italian, and fluent in the styles of Swing, Blues, Bossa Nova, Boleros and Top 40s, Kaylee undoubtedly has a song for everyone. And with the flexibility of playing solo up to a big band, Kaylee’s group can accommodate and elevate any space.
Kaylee’s favorite part of performing is bringing joy to her audiences. Her music makes kids dance and gives older folk a sigh of nostalgia. Kaylee is personable and interactive with her audiences, and, by inviting them into her musical world, builds a sense of community within each venue.
Eric Neilson is a San Diego based singer-songwriter, content creator, and music industry professional. Neilson blends music with technical prowess. His journey, from his University of New Haven music studies to his USS Boxer deployments, echoes the beatnik spirit. Tunes birthed from Boston's streets to Chicago's neon lights. "The Hemingway EP" (2017) and "Medicine Man" (2023) illustrate his stories.
Smokey venues from Tin Roof to Sycamore Den have felt his musical presence. He’s also performed at the USO in Dubai during his tenure in the US Navy.
Today, he crafts sound at Moonshine Flats, Moonshine Beach, and aids sonic pilgrimages with Sofar Sounds and Writer's Round San Diego. Through DharmaDen, his YouTube sanctuary, he immortalizes San Diego's musical travelers. He aspires to, one day, own a community-based cannabis cafe that will bring together creatives, veterans, and cannabist-enthusiasts under one roof.
