“With the closing notes still ringing in my ears, I felt confident I’d discovered my favorite new rock band.”
– Dennis Cook, JamBase
Kareeta is from Orange County, and in three years has released two records, both produced by Greg Loiacono of the legendary California rock band, The Mother Hips. The band's latest album FREEWAY JUNKIE QUEEN sees the band joined by Dave Schools of Widespread Panic on bass, with consummate badass Jerry Joseph as a guest on the title track. Kareeta plays many of the top clubs in the West, including Great American Music Hall, The Chapel, Moe's Alley, The Siren, SLO Brew, Venice West and Saint Rocke, to name a few. Its reputation for electric live shows coupled with top shelf recordings and cinematic storytelling sees the band picking up devoted followers at a rapidly growing pace.
